What is Olympic Luge?

Luge is an olympic sport in which a person or teams of persons go down a track on a sled, also called a luge, competeing for the lowest time. The team with the lowest total time out of four runs (singles) or two runs (doubles) wins. The medal finalists are determined by whoever has the lowest total time.

Where is it held?

The olympics in 2010 are going to be held in Vancouver. The luge event for the olympics is going to be held at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Pictured below is a turn at the sliding centre in Vancouver.
